What Our Customers Say
"I recently ordered two pair
of curtains from your catalog,
and would
just like to say I was absolutely delighted! Your telephone staff was
kind and courteous, and the package was delivered on time, just as I
was told it would be. Although the curtains I ordered were inexpensive,
they were well-made, high quality fabric for the price, and hang
beautifully. In today's market, where nothing ever seems to be what
it's advertised to be, your product, and sales staff, are a much needed
change of pace and a very, very pleasant surprise!"

Several years ago my
husband and I bought an historic log home in
Jacksonville, Oregon - which is one of only a handful of places in the
USA where the entire city is on the National Historic Register. I had
dreamt of owning this home since I was big enough to look out of a car
window to see it on the roadside! It needed lots of work, and with our
limited budget I was hard pressed to find adequate window coverings
that suited the home's historic character. Then a friend told me about
Country Curtains, and I must say it was love at first site! My first
purchase was the muslin curtains. From there, over the years I
graduated up to ball-fringe, black-out, weaver's cloth insulated, and
on and on! Our home was on two historic home tours, and people always
complimented our curtains and asked where we got them; I was always
happy to say "Country Curtains!" If people said that their homes
weren't country style, I would tell them it didn't matter because your
variety is amazing. Someday we plan to visit your "neck of the woods"
and Country Curtains will definitely be on the itinerary - I'll be sure
to pack an empty suitcase for bringing home some new treasures!

I wanted to express
what a delight it was for me to visit your shop
last weekend! Your merchandise is everything someone with a New England
home would want to find, and your salespeople are knowledgeable and
extremely helpful. I came away thinking, "This is what every retail
establishment should have as its model … great customer service and
merchandise of solid quality at a reasonable price point." I was very
impressed ... It was definitely worth the drive . . . and I look
forward to coming back.

I have been a faithful
follower of your catalog since 1974. I had just gotten married and we
had bought a new house and I found a copy of your catalog in the school
lounge where I was teaching. It was exactly what I was looking for!! I
bought and have been buying ever since!! Three apartments, four houses,
and three husbands later, I am still buying and loving every thing I
purchase from you. I couldn't ask for better quality or better service!
You guys are great! Keep up the great work!

I am one
of your loyal customers and look forward to receiving your lovely
catalogs every year. I have also been to the Red Lion Inn retail store.
My home is full of your curtains and bedding. As a matter of fact, I
just realized that I have Country Curtains in every room except for
two. I have your bedspreads and the blue toile bedding in my bedroom.
As a newlywed in the 1980's, I didn't have a clue where to buy curtains
until I found your catalog and I have been hooked ever since. I have
never had to throw away or give away anything I have purchased from
you, I just rotate! The styles are classic. I feel like you are part of
my family and I enjoy hearing all the news from Country Curtains every
year.

"The first time I saw
a pair of Country Curtains, I so well remember
how they made the room look. Warm, homey and pretty. To this day I have
them in each of my eight rooms. But there is something else very
special about Country Curtains. Your catalog. It arrives, and I make a
cup of tea to enjoy while I see what's new. I never put the catalog
away - it's always within reach. It has gone on long drives, and to
friends' homes. It is certainly true that your curtains are beautiful,
timeless and long lasting, but I want to thank you for the added
special treat I've received along with your curtains. Countless hours
of relaxation, hundreds of ideas, and a dream on every page of the
Country Curtains catalog."

"When the house sold,
the woman buying the house remarked that she
loved the decorating. We, of course, discussed what would stay and what
would go. When we got to the curtain part of the agreement, she put her
finger to her lips, and walked through the house nodding, grinning,
smiling and, finally, stating 'I would like to keep all the curtains
except those,' pointing to our sun-dining room. The great part of the
story is that we had Country Curtains in every room . . . except one. I
bet you know the room. The woman bought our home lock, stock, barrel,
and curtains. All curtains but one. Thanks, Country Curtains!!!"

"I would like to tell you a story which will be a
part of my life forever. When I think of it tears come to my eyes. I
loved your red gingham curtains, and always told myself if I had a baby
girl she was going to have those curtains. Years went by and I couldn't
get pregnant. I was on a waiting list for adoption. 8 years went by and
I finally got the news I had been waiting for; this was a Friday
morning and the adoption service said I could pick up my baby girl on
Monday. I was so excited I was laughing and crying at the same time. I
called my family first. Then I called Country Curtains. I got a
wonderful operator and explained I was getting my baby on Monday. She
was so sweet and said I would have my curtains. On Monday, we left to
pick up my sweetie. Within 2 hours of arriving home, the UPS man was
delivering my red gingham curtains. Thank you Country Curtains and the
woman who helped me make my daughter's homecoming special!"

"I purchased my first
Country Curtains in the summer of 1988 for my
150-year-old vintage Chicago apartment - it had twelve foot ceilings
and overlooked Lake Michigan. The curtains then made the journey to
Princeton, NJ and looked equally lovely adorning the windows of our
modern and lofty condominium overlooking the Delaware canal. Now, our
curtains hang in our Yardley, PA colonial home, just a mile from the
Delaware River. completely different environments - the curtains still
look lovely!!"
