Using a metal tape measure or a wooden yardstick, measure the width of the window area you would like to cover, typically from bracket to bracket
For proper fullness, order curtains that are approximately one and a half times to double the width of the window area you would like to cover.
For even wider windows, choose an extra pair of regular width curtains/panels.

"I like the curtains but was not happy when I discovered that the seams had not been pressed. Pressing the seam allowances to one side wasn't easy because (1) I had to work from the front (cannot iron the backing) and (2) the seam allowance was sewn into the header in one direction and the bottom hem in another. So I had to choose a direction and end up with a lump either way. It seems to me that basic construction rules should always include pressing a seam."

"These wider width curtains are an excellent choice for my 9 feet long set of 3 bedroom windows. I chose the natural color. It is a nice neutral soft color. Curtains drape nicely. Not mentioned, that I saw in the description, is that each panel is seamed to make the width. The seam is neat, small and with the nice drape folds is not detracting to the overall look of the curtain. This was my first order with CC but won't be my last. Nice warm curtain for the Montana winters. Doris"
