8’ rod comes in two 4’ sections with double-ended screw (to connect the two rods together)
If ordering the 8’ rod, this comes with three brackets (one to be used as a center support) and two ball finials

"These are very nice, and I love the way they look in my living room. I really liked the look even though they didn't really fit the window size, so a friend helped me saw them down to three feet in length and then I actually screwed the finials through the curtains to make them curl around and cover a little of the brackets.
