The front rod measures 2-1/2" in diameter and fits 3" rod pockets
The back rod measurement is 3/4" in diameter with a clearance (behind the rod) of 2" and fits 1-1/2" rod pockets
This rod fits curtains of 3" rod pockets (for rod in the front) and up to 1-1/2" rod pockets (for the rod in the back)
Please note: the back rod is recommended for lightweight fabrics like sheers and laces
Double brackets, instructions and hardware are included

"Beware all do-it-yourselfers! The parts don't match the instructions. The instructions were written by someone who has never observed the average couple install rods. Plus you need a magnifying glass to see one of the illustrations. The extension rod did not fit in the narrow rod. One piece arrived broken (fortunately we didn't need it).
