  • How to Measure information
  • Measuring & Selection Tips videos
  • Using a metal tape measure or a wooden yardstick, measure the width of the window area you would like to cover, typically from bracket to bracket.
  • Order lace panels that are about 12 to 24 inches wider than your window area - this will allow the lace pattern to show. If the lace panel is a little wider than this, that’s fine, it will just have more fullness at your window.

To achieve the look shown in the main image we used the following item(s):

  • Bird Song Lace Rod Pocket Panel
  • Sheffield Adjustable Rod
  • Sheffield Leaf Finials

Q: How long are these panels? They only come in the 60-inch width? Can anyone recommend what to hang with these for privacy? I am tired of the slatted blinds. Would honeycomb blinds look good? I don't see people using roller blinds anymore.

"Beautiful curtains. They add warmth and charm to my dining room. So many of my friends have commented on how nice my windows look because of these curtains. They are delicate looking, but very well made. I expect to have them for many years to come!"
"I absolutely completely totally love these. I bought for my daughter's bedroom but loved them so much that after a year of enjoying them in there I had to buy for my bedroom as well. I always bought cotton lace because polyester so often looks cheap and shiny. These don't look any different in color, shine or texture to the super duper outrageously more expensive cotton lace ones I have had in my living room for years. Plus they are a lot easier to wash. Plus the birdies are lovely! Yay!"

"I love Bird Song panels- I have them with a valance from Country Curtains on a window in my upstairs hall which really needed cheering up- they are so pretty and remind me of the springtime and beautiful birds and nature. I have them in the ivory color, and they soften the light and cheer me every morning. They are beautiful and not cheap looking at all. Thank you Country Curtains."

"Like the Tree of Life curtains, these proved to be a disappointment as well. It's just polyester and it really looks cheap. Not at all the way I had hoped for them to be. "
