  • How to Measure information
  • Measuring & Selection Tips videos
  • Using a metal tape measure or a wooden yardstick, measure the width of the window area you would like to cover, typically from bracket to bracket.
  • Order lace panels that are about 12 to 24 inches wider than your window area - this will allow the lace pattern to show. If the lace panel is a little wider than this, that’s fine, it will just have more fullness at your window.

To achieve the look shown in the main image we used the following item(s):

  • Point d’Esprit Rod Pocket Panel
  • Heavy-Duty Single Rod

"These Pointd'Esprit panels are just beautiful in my master bedroom- they give a vintage look which I love for my older house. Very light and airy and look great over my blinds when opened. Have a great view of greenery because they are light and airy, but also give a private feeling while softening the light. Perfect!"

"I had these panels in my last apartment for many years & when I moved a few months ago I bought new ones for the new place where the windows are larger. Right out of the package I rinsed them to get the creases out & hung them on the rods to air dry. They are always beautiful without being too busy and let in lots of light and garden views. I love these panels."

"I love Country Curtains and all the products I've ever purchased, however, I am NOT happy with these curtains. Perhaps it's because I am from the south and just old enough to remember real point d"esprit curtains, made out of cotton or mostly cotton. I hate the way these curtains feel, as they are very, very stiff and feel and look plastic-y on the windows. I hate them-even when I squint they look cheap. "

"These are my favorite curtains of all time. I have owned them since 2001 and they still look as good as the day I bought them. They wash up beautiful. I love the fringe and the clip and the way you can arrange them. Highly recommend these lovely window treatments."

"These fit my bill. I used one panel for an interior door with divided lights on the top half. Very charming. I've been buying from Country Curtains for 35 years and my mother from the beginning of the biz when we found it in Yankee Mag. We have never, never been disappointed. They are full and well made of wonderful fabrics. I would never buy chintzy curtains from a dept. store. My home looks well done. ALL of my curtains throughout are from Country Curtains and my previous homes."
