  • How to Measure information
  • Measuring & Selection Tips videos
  • Using a metal tape measure or a wooden yardstick, measure the width of the window area you would like to cover, typically from bracket to bracket.
  • Order lace panels that are about 12 to 24 inches wider than your window area - this will allow the lace pattern to show. If the lace panel is a little wider than this, that’s fine, it will just have more fullness at your window.

To achieve the look shown in the main image we used the following item(s):

  • Point d’Esprit Rod Pocket Panel
  • Heavy-Duty Single Rod

"I bought 4 pairs of these over 10 years ago for our pair of double front windows that overlook a lake. The lace allows us to see the view while providing some privacy. I wash them twice a year on delicate in a front-loading machine, dry partly and then hang damp - no wrinkles! Are they also sturdy? YES: I have cats who will sit on the sofa back and rest a forearm with a claw in the lace. (OMG! This is why I bought 2 extra pair!) In 10+ years, just 1 small tear! GREAT product! Happy cats! :)"

"These Pointd'Esprit panels are just beautiful in my master bedroom- they give a vintage look which I love for my older house. Very light and airy and look great over my blinds when opened. Have a great view of greenery because they are light and airy, but also give a private feeling while softening the light. Perfect!"

"I had these panels in my last apartment for many years & when I moved a few months ago I bought new ones for the new place where the windows are larger. Right out of the package I rinsed them to get the creases out & hung them on the rods to air dry. They are always beautiful without being too busy and let in lots of light and garden views. I love these panels."

"I love Country Curtains and all the products I've ever purchased, however, I am NOT happy with these curtains. Perhaps it's because I am from the south and just old enough to remember real point d"esprit curtains, made out of cotton or mostly cotton. I hate the way these curtains feel, as they are very, very stiff and feel and look plastic-y on the windows. I hate them-even when I squint they look cheap. "

"These are my favorite curtains of all time. I have owned them since 2001 and they still look as good as the day I bought them. They wash up beautiful. I love the fringe and the clip and the way you can arrange them. Highly recommend these lovely window treatments."
