  • Measuring & Selection Tips videos
  • Using a metal tape measure or a wooden yardstick, measure the width of the window area you would like to cover, typically from bracket to bracket
  • For proper fullness, order curtains that are approximately one and a half times to double the width of the window area you would like to cover.
  • For even wider windows, choose an extra pair of regular width curtains/panels.

"I purchased these curtains for my breakfast room and adjacent den. I shirred each panel on wooden rods adjacent to each window. They are used as stationary panels. I had to remove the hem because I needed a longer length than the 96 inches. I wish that they came longer as I have 13 ft ceilings and long windows in these rooms. A lining would have been nice as well but I loved the color and pattern so much . We mounted the valence on a board and hung it over the kitchen sink window. Love it!"

"Customer Service gets an A+. We had a wedding coming up in 3 weeks. The wedding was at our residence and the window in question was a dormer that had never had window coverings and after 13 years we decided it was about time. Part of my order was backordered and the estimated ship dates put delivery, at the latest, to be the day before the wedding. I e-mailed customer service about my concerns of not getting them in time. The curtains actually arrived 2 weeks before the wedding."
