  • How to Measure information
  • Measuring & Selection Tips videos
  • Using a metal tape measure or a wooden yardstick, measure the width of the window area you would like to cover, typically from bracket to bracket
  • For proper fullness, order grommet curtains that are approximately double, even triple the width of the window area you would like to cover.
  • For even wider windows, choose an extra pair of regular width curtains/panels.
  • Grommet panel length is measured from the very top of the curtain (not the top of the grommet) to the bottom.

"I've happily ordered from CC for over 25 years. What I am furious about now is the quality of work and that they are now made in CHINA. I ordered 2 panels to be hemmed to 45" which they were, but one side of one panel is 7/8" shorter and part of the hem is sewn but not tucked under; the other side has the hem line about 3" dipped from one side to the other. When calling to complain, I talked to someone NOT at CC who bluntly told me to return them because the fabric and quality are now bad."

"I saw the negative reviews and had to write. I have these curtains in "Sage" and I have to say they are very elegant! I don't understand the 2 comments about them not being blackout curtains, mine are really great, maybe it's the difference in color? Did you get a lighter color? I will agree they do wrinkle, I know they are washable but because they were wrinkled from packaging I don't think I'll wash them - I would worry what they would look like. After hanging they straightened out."

"I had given these curtains a poor rating in the past but I did it out of haste. In reality they are great. They really block out the light as described. I like the quality and they make the room look elegant. The only negative would be that they need ironing but this is probably true of any curtain that comes folded, I could use the steamer if I wasn't so lazy and they would look amazing! Thank you customer service because they honored a sale price for the last pair I ordered!! "

"I have to agree with Lisa from Scarsdale NY; the description of these panels is totally inaccurate. They don't have any blackout or thickness qualities. I'm reading your description and looking and looking again at the actual product and it's like two different products altogether. Shipping back is a hassle so I decided to keep them but they are wrinkled and are very thin. Will have to order another matching pair but will wait for a sale since paying full price seems like a total rip off. "

"I love them now that they are hung up but it was not good when I first got them. I bought an extra set of panels to add length to the curtains. I needed 104 and the longest length I could buy was the 96...oh, it is so frustrating! When I attempted to sew the extra panel I found: material needed special needle, my machine was went out of wack, hard fabric to work with, sizing length and width varied so much on each panel. Needed a professional seamstress to add the extra length"
