  • How to Measure information
  • Measuring & Selection Tips videos
  • Using a metal tape measure or a wooden yardstick, measure the width of the window area you would like to cover, typically from bracket to bracket
  • For proper fullness, order curtains that are approximately one and a half times to double the width of the window area you would like to cover.
  • For even wider windows, choose an extra pair of regular width curtains/panels.
  • Grommet panel length is measured from the very top of the curtain (not the top of the grommet) to the bottom.

Q: How would you describe the "sage" shade? It looks subdued in the photo--more of an olive green and not very bright.

"I've had so many bad experiences with panels not being consistent in length that I actually went to Country Curtains because I had ordered from them before and knew they were dependable. I was quite surprised at the quality. I ordered three pair of these drapes in gold for my master bedroom. The fabric is beautiful and the price is amazing (same per pair as most places charge per panel). "

"I have had these for over a year and they are stunning! They wash beautifully and have really held up. As always, very pleased with my Country Curtain purchase!"

"I ordered these curtains for my daughters bedroom and they look and feel fabulous. However, after only one year the fabric is pulling away from the grommets and they are starting to fall apart around the grommets. We don't open and close them excessively. Open in the morning and closed at night. In the summer they are closed all the time. I feel the weight fabric may be too heavy for the grommets. I loved these curtains and now I'm sorely disappointed that they didn't last."
"These draperies are very, very nice for ready-made! Ordered three pair (six panels) and all match as well as a custom draperies would. The fabric has the appearance of real silk. Panels are beautifully finished on the reverse side, too - in ivory to look as good from the outside looking in! Thank you, Country Curtains, for your excellent customer service."
