"I guess I'm in the minority about the quality of the blackout corded roller shades because I think they are great. We have them in every bedroom (no one in my family can sleep unless the room is totally black!). I bought the first set maybe 20 years ago and they are still functioning fine. You do have to be super careful in measuring so no tiny slit of light comes through on the sides. But a great product at a reasonable price."

"The only positive I have is that it does block the sun. I think the cheap big box store ones would do just as well. They are horrible to keep straight. I pull the cord very slow to raise & lower. They are so light weight when lowered they blow out from the window with the fan or a/c on. I am constantly having to raise & pull the entire shade to center on the plastic tube that the fabric is attached to by clips."

"I've been loyal Country Curtain customer for 35 years. The blind's quality is not representative of the companies product line. Highly disappointed. Pros: Easy installation and nice looking. Cons: After just a few months of use the cord frayed and broke like a shoe lace. Poor quality and wouldn't recommend. "

"I like everything about the shade with the exception of the cord. It is difficult to grip when raising and lowering. I have other roller shades with chain pulls that are easier to grip."
"I have bought many curtains from Country Curtains and have been happy. This product was an exception. They are structurally flawed. They are crooked on the roller and therefore impossible to get straight. VERY FRUSTRATING! I couldn't use them, and need to return them."
