"This is the first time in all the years that I have shopped at Country Curtains that I was dissatisfied. When I received the rod, the smell was so awful, I immediately got a headache. It had such a strong chemical smell that would not dissipate. I am unsure if it is because I ordered the black or if all of these rods have this issue, but I would not purchase these."

"Haven't hung the curtain yet. After opening the package, the rod had such a toxic smell that I had to leave it outside overnight, and it still stinks. I'm not even sure I want to put my curtain on it. "Made in China" takes on a whole new meaning when opening a package gives you an instant headache . . ."

"Very nice, sturdy rods. I wish Country Curtains would offer smaller tension rods in these colors to use for inset door panels, which would look much nicer and more decorative than the flat white ones. "

"I needed to put a tier curtain in a picture window in my living room for privacy. The largest size of this tension rod made that easy. The large size and attractive finishing made it an asset to my decor. Has stayed up without any trouble for years."
