Q: If my window is 54 inches -- will the rod that says up to 54 inches fit? Or is that exactly how long it expands to? I'm just concerned that there would be no "tension"

"Great rod. Has super strength."

"I needed to put a tier curtain in a picture window in my living room for privacy. The largest size of this tension rod made that easy. The large size and attractive finishing made it an asset to my decor. Has stayed up without any trouble for years."

"This is the best quality spring rod I have seen. I am using it in the bathroom where these is no other blind or shade. There is enough room for just one or the other. The rod adjusts easily, does not damage the window frame, and looks good. Thanks for making a superb product."

"Low profile, and versatile lightweight rod. I ordered it in black and used it with black curtain rings to suspend an antique tea sized tablecloth between the cabinets that surround my kitchen window. It can be raised or lowered based on what I wish to hang."
"This tension rod is a terrible product. I ordered the white one. Although not apparent in the picture, it comes with black rubber pads on its ends which leaves black marks all over your wall. More importantly, the rod does not stay in place. Mine stayed up for only one night, and I have been unable to get it to stay in place since then."
