  • Overall shade width is measured from tip to tip (bracket to bracket); however; the shade fabric will measure 1-1/2" less than the overall total shade measurement.
  • For example: if you order a 29" width shade, the actual fabric measures 27-1/2" wide (which is 1-1/2" narrower than the total width of the 29" shade)
  • For light control, we recommend an outside mount to reduce light from outside. This shade can be mounted as an inside or outside mount (hardware included)
  • This shade is raised and lowered by the use of a rollerbead cord, which cleanly attaches to woodwork.
  • Shades of 48" wide or wider cannot be shipped Express or to Alaska, Hawaii or outside of the U.S.

Q: Guess not really a question ... just wish these were available in a 22" width for use on French doors. The 24" would interfere with the door handle.

"Love love love these shades. Wish they had them the width of all my windows. Bought 4 for my daughters new home and my husband said easy to install. I think I'll be buying more for my home also. Wish the mounting clip for the chain had an option for mounting them on the right side also for double windows. "
"The front door on our 1913 house opens directly into the living room, and is composed of large beveled glass lights connected by narrow oak strips. We wanted privacy at night, and explored several options. This shade, in wicker, was the perfect solution. Though it doesn't match the oak door, it blends well with it. Its slightly rustic character perfectly complements the craftsman style of our home. We did paint the bright white plastic hardware brown, to help it to "disappear" against the oak."

"I love these! I bought 48" wide in grey for a bedroom, and they are gorgeous. I love the silvery sheen of the grey: CC had volunteered to mail me a free swatch. No complaints from my handyman about the hardware or the instructions: we had the right tools and they went up quickly. He spent much more time measuring than actually installing. I've been buying from CC for years: always a terrific value and the BEST customer service. "

"Disappointed. Thought they would be more of a fabric woven look as pictured, but are made of plant material, papery and thinner looking. Poor quality hardware also. Don't use screws that come w/ shades bec. they strip out about half way in. We were left w/ issue of having to remove them without a screwdriver. Shade is rolled on plastic not metal & again a problem. We measured correctly, however portion that is supposed to fit into mounting bracket is too short, so shade wobbly & unstable. "

"I ordered two to install in a very sunny room and neededa high quality, very natural color to go with wooden windows. PERFECT. Very high quality and the color is rich. It was harder to get the supplies out of the package than it was to hang them!"
