Q: The valance is shown with a different rod than I was planning. Can I use a flat 3 inch rod for this valance?

"I absolutely am delighted with these valances. They are sheer enough to let the light in but not so sheer that they cannot be hung on a continental rod. The quality was as to be expected from Country Curtains, (superb). My request is to please bring back the tiered bedspread with the split corners that you carried many years ago. There is nothing of that beauty nor quality for four poster beds any longer."

"So pretty. Love the button details. Great fabric"

"I bought these valances for our beach house. They finish off the windows nicely and don't block the light coming in. One thing to note is that they do need ironing before being hung. I thought the humidity here would take out the wrinkles but still had to iron them. They look very nice in our living room and as always I am pleased with my purchase from Country Curtains."
"I was a little disappointed with the quality and workmanship of these curtains. Material is flimsy & buttons were hardly attached to material, and droop downward when hung on rods."
"Bought this valance to place on a exterior door. Love it!! Also bought the sheer panels for two windows next to the door. Great fabric and look."
