Q: I know it says it looks best if not too shirred. I have 35" wide windows. I like the look in the picture. I prefer not to double the width of valance because it would be too much shirring. But is it enough if it barely fits the length of the window?

Q: Do you have macrame valances that will fit a larger rod? My 12 foot long, 1-1/2" diameter decorative rod originally held scarves, but they need replacing. I think your macrame pieces are beautiful and am hoping you have some I can use

Q: Can multiples of this valance be inconspiculously (sp) joined together? And will it go on a 1-1/2" diameter rod?

"I have the tiers and valances in my living room and dining room. They are so rich looking. I have had them for twenty years. I now have them in my kitchen to. I just love these curtains. My daughter loved them so much she bought the for her removed vacation house. She bought the valances for 17 Windows.. We just love these curtains!!"

"I have bought this valance/tier combination for 4 or the 6 houses I've owned. Buyers always want me to leave them with the house! Love this design! Just enough privacy, beautiful macramé."

"The look of these valences was exactly what I was looking for, and I originally purchased three for my bedroom in 2000. We moved in 2011 and I found I needed another valence for my new home's window arrangement. I contacted your company and found you still carried the product. I purchased this fourth valence 11 years after the first purchase, and it matched the others perfectly. Your quality and consistency of product is outstanding. I still love my valences!"
"The curtains are perfect. Nicer than I had expected."
"I adore this old fashioned, elaborate lace curtain, which I've put up both in my kitchen (valance) and living room (tier). Calling it "macrame" (knotted thread) is a misnomer, however. It is really more of a machine-made version of Reticella lace, a type of lacework originally made with a needle. In any case, these curtains are beautifully made and a good deal."
