  • For even wider windows, choose extra valance(s).

Q: Has anyone tried these curtains without a flat curtain rod? I'm thinking of using them on my decorative black rods with the scroll finial at the end. Do they still hang nicely using a different type of rod? Just wondering if anyone has tried that.

" I bought this valance for my bathroom window. It blends in so well with my clock on the opposite wall(clock face looks very similar to the valance design) and oiled bronze fixtures. I chose the d'espirit lace panels in natural to go underneath. Looks GREAT!! Fine quality!!"

"These are my favorite Valances I have ever owned. I like them more than specialty window treatments I have ordered that I have helped design. They are well made and unique and stand up as beautiful as shown. I have no idea about the comment mentioning the look as hanging differently as shown. I have one above my kitchen sink and another at the back door of my kitchen. I'd love to see some area rugs in the same material. I purchased the dark blue and I made artwork in the Parisian style. Thanks!"

"This is a high quality valance that looks like an expensive custom treatment. Tou can tie up as high or low as you want. Heavy fabric and lining gives this valance a substantial feel. I am very happy with this valance."

"These are super cute and look just like the picture -- I found it a BIT hard to make the ties look as perfect as the catalogue photo, but after a few tries they turned out nicely. Very thick, high quality material. Very happy with these!!"
"I absolutely LOVE this valance and I have received so many compliments on it. I got it in the taupe color with the white ribbon. I knotted, rather than bowed the ribbons and it is beautiful. Great quality and easy to install."
