Q: I want to use this as a vanity table in a fairly well-ventilated bathroom. Do you think the finish and the "manufactured wood" of the top would hold up to some humidity?

Q: The details section says that this desk is made of pine, yet in answer to the question of whether or not it's solid pine, you say the legs and front are poplar, top is manufactured wood, and drawer inside is plywood. Just what part is made of pine?

"The desk is lovely! For the most part it is constructed and finished well. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the drawer gave us some problems. The runner was a bit bent and caused the drawer to catch and stop about 2 inches into opening it. It was the weekend though and I didn't want to wait for a new one, so my husband spent about 20 minutes jiggering with the glide/runner to get it to work smoothly. It's perfect now!"
